Today’s BIRTHDAY Celebrants: CAIO ZINK de Souza (68) from Campinas, SP, and JOHN Henry Percival BROOMAN (67) from Recife, PE. Both were part of CEP 81 PETROBRAS

National Day of Commitment to Children, Adolescents, and Education: established by Law No. 12,685 on July 18, 2012, with the objective of raising awareness in society about the importance of education and the protection of children’s and adolescents’ rights. The choice of November 21 refers to the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations (UN) on November 21, 1959.

The significance of this date lies in the need to reinforce the collective commitment to ensuring quality education and the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents. It serves as a moment of reflection and mobilization to promote effective public policies and actions that guarantee the rights established by the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA).
