Without Volunteers, the Olympic Games simply couldn’t happen as we know them. At the Paris Games, we had around 45,000 volunteers, approximately 70% of whom were French, and 30% were volunteers from over 100 countries. The average age was 35 years: 25% (18-25 years), 50% (26-50 years), and 25% over 50 years. Multicultural and multilingual diversity is essential to meet the needs of a global audience.

The participation of Brazilian Volunteers was estimated at approximately 1,500, with around 200 being over 60 years old. Many of these volunteers are retirees who saw the Games as an opportunity to stay Active, engage in Physical Exercise, Travel, Socialize, and refresh their Minds by PARTICIPATING in a GLOBAL EVENT. 2028 HAS MORE TO COME.
