DATA MAGNA DE PERNAMBUCO: o dia 6 de março, que celebra a Revolução Pernambucana de 1817, foi oficializado como feriado estadual em PERNAMBUCO em 2017, por meio da Lei Estadual nº 15.082, em comemoração ao Bicentenário da Revolução.

Essa Revolução foi um movimento separatista e republicano que ocorreu na então CAPITANIA DE PERNAMBUCO, no contexto das lutas pela Independência do BRASIL. Justifica-se a escolha dessa data como MAGNA DE PERNAMBUCO devido ao IMPACTO que teve não apenas no ESTADO, mas também no Processo de Independência do nosso país como um todo.

MAGNA DATE OF PERNAMBUCO: march 6th, which commemorates the Pernambucan Revolution of 1817, was officially declared a state holiday in PERNAMBUCO in 2017, through State Law No. 15.082, in celebration of the Bicentennial of the Revolution.

This Revolution was a separatist and republican movement that occurred in the then CAPTAINCY OF PERNAMBUCO, in the context of the struggles for the Independence of BRAZIL. The choice of this date as PERNAMBUCO’S MAGNA is justified by the IMPACT it had not only on the STATE but also on the Independence Process of our country as a whole.
