O Dia Nacional do ROTARY, 23 de fevereiro, celebra a existência dos ROTARY CLUBS espalhados pelo mundo, os quais têm como missão promover relações de compreensão e ajuda ao próximo. Aqui a data foi instituída pela Lei n.º 6.843, de 3 de novembro de 1980. Nos Estados Unidos, também é celebrado nesta data da fundação do primeiro clube rotário em Chicago, em 1905. 

The National ROTARY Day, February 23, celebrates the existence of ROTARY CLUBS spread throughout the world, which mission is to promote relationships of understanding and assistance to others. Here, the date was instituted by Law No. 6,843, on November 3, 1980. In the United States, it is also celebrated on this date, the foundation day of the first Rotary club in Chicago, in 1905.

ROTARY: rede global de líderes comunitários, amigos e vizinhos que veem um mundo onde as pessoas se unem e entram em ação para causar mudanças duradouras em si mesmas, nas suas comunidades e no mundo todo. A palavra é um adjetivo do idioma inglês, equivalente a rotativo, giratório, circulatório. Os associados fundadores desta organização optaram pelo nome porque as suas primeiras reuniões eram feitas em rodízio, cada vez no local de trabalho de um dos associados.

ROTARY: a global network of community leaders, friends, and neighbors who envision a world where people come together and take action to create lasting change in themselves, their communities, and the world. The word is an adjective in the English language, equivalent to rotary, spinning, circulating. The founding members of this organization chose the name because their early meetings were held in rotation, each time at the workplace of one of the members.

ROTARY BRASIL: enfrenta diversos desafios em sua missão de promover o serviço humanitário, o desenvolvimento comunitário e a paz. Alguns desses desafios incluem a desigualdade socioeconômica, a falta de acesso a serviços básicos de saúde e educação em várias regiões do país, bem como questões ambientais e sociais complexas. Exemplos práticos de realizações incluem a ajuda na construção de creches, hospitais e centros de saúde em áreas carentes, a implementação de programas de alfabetização para adultos, a participação de campanhas de vacinação e o apoio a iniciativas de empreendedorismo social.

ROTARY BRAZIL: faces various challenges in its mission to promote humanitarian service, community development, and peace. Some of these challenges include socioeconomic inequality, lack of access to basic health and education services in various regions of the country, as well as complex environmental and social issues. Practical examples of achievements include assistance in building daycare centers, hospitals, and health centers in underserved areas, implementation of adult literacy programs, participation in vaccination campaigns, and support for social entrepreneurship initiatives.

O ROTARY CLUB de SÃO PAULO foi o primeiro clube rotário estabelecido no BRASI, fundado em 10 de fevereiro de 1924.

The Rotary Club of São Paulo was the first Rotary club established in Brazil, founded on February 10, 1924.
