No BRASIL, o Dia Nacional do Turismo é celebrado em 2 de março. Essa data foi escolhida em homenagem à criação da EMBRATUR (Empresa Brasileira de Turismo) em 1966, por meio da Lei nº 5.498, com o objetivo de promover o turismo nacional e internacional no país.
In BRAZIL, the National Tourism Day is celebrated on March 2nd. This date was chosen in honor of the creation of EMBRATUR (Brazilian Tourism Board) in 1966, through Law No. 5,498, with the aim of promoting national and international tourism in the country. The importance of National Tourism Day lies in raising awareness about the country’s tourism potential, as well as providing an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of the sector, which is one of the main economic activities in several regions, generating direct and indirect jobs, promoting the preservation of cultural and natural heritage, and encouraging cultural exchange.
DIA MUNDIAL do TURISMO: é celebrado em 27 de setembro todos os anos desde 1980, quando a Organização Mundial do Turismo (OMT) estabeleceu a data para promover a conscientização sobre a importância do turismo e seu impacto econômico, social, cultural e ambiental em nível global. A escolha do dia 27 de setembro se deve ao fato de ser a data da adoção dos estatutos da OMT.
WORLD TOURISM DAY: it is celebrated on September 27th every year since 1980, when the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) established the date to promote awareness about the importance of tourism and its economic, social, cultural, and environmental impact globally. The choice of September 27th is due to it being the date of the adoption of UNWTO’s statutes.
TURISMO NO BRASIL:
– a) Rio de Janeiro: conhecido por praias como Copacabana e Ipanema, o Cristo Redentor, o Pão de Açúcar e o Carnaval;
– b) Foz do Iguaçu: as Cataratas do Iguaçu é uma das sete maravilhas naturais do mundo;
– c) Bonito: localizado no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul é famoso por suas águas cristalinas, cavernas subaquáticas e uma variedade de atividades ecoturísticas, como mergulho, flutuação e trilhas;
– d) Fernando de Noronha: um arquipélago paradisíaco situado no estado de Pernambuco é um destino de sonho para os amantes da natureza;
– e) Manaus e a Floresta Amazônica: a capital do estado do Amazonas serve como ponto de partida para explorar a vasta e diversificada Floresta Amazônica, oferecendo oportunidades únicas de ecoturismo, como passeios de barco pela selva, observação de pássaros e encontros com comunidades indígenas.
Esses são apenas alguns exemplos do diversificado cenário turístico do BRASIL, que merece ser celebrado.
TOURISM IN BRAZIL: a) Rio de Janeiro: known for beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema, the Christ the Redeemer statue, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Carnival; b) Foz do Iguaçu: the Iguaçu Falls are one of the seven natural wonders of the world; c) Bonito: located in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, it is famous for its crystal-clear waters, underwater caves, and a variety of ecotourism activities such as diving, snorkeling, and hiking trails; d) Fernando de Noronha: a paradisiacal archipelago situated in the state of Pernambuco, it is a dream destination for nature lovers; e) Manaus and the Amazon Rainforest: the capital of the state of Amazonas serves as a starting point to explore the vast and diverse Amazon Rainforest, offering unique ecotourism opportunities such as jungle boat rides, bird watching, and encounters with indigenous communities. These are just a few examples of the diverse tourism landscape of BRAZIL, which deserves to be celebrated.
