The date is a tribute to Live Aid, a mega Rock event held on July 13, 1985, organized by Bob Geldof (Irish singer, songwriter, and humanitarian) and Midge Ure (British guitarist, singer, and songwriter) to raise funds against famine in Ethiopia.
