National Day of COMBATING GLAUCOMA: in BRAZIL, May 26th is dedicated to raising awareness about Glaucoma, an eye disease that can lead to blindness if not treated properly. The goal of this day is to alert the population about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis. Glaucoma is known as the “Silent Thief of Sight” because it often does not present evident symptoms until it is in an advanced stage.

International Day of SAINT PHILIP NERI: an Italian Catholic saint known for his cheerful spirit and the foundation of the Congregation of the Oratory.
