BIRTHDAYS of the Day: GERSON ROCHA and MARCIO BERGAMISHI (CEP 81)
NATIONAL COFFEE DAY: established in 2005 at the suggestion of ABIC – Brazilian Coffee Industry Association. The date aims to recognize the significant importance and history of coffee in BRAZIL, which is the world’s largest producer.
INFANTRY DAY: honors the military of the Brazilian Army Infantry Branch. The date was chosen in honor of Antônio de Sampaio (1810-1866), Patron of the Branch, who was born on May 24.
TYPISTS’ DAY: the date was chosen to honor the professionals who played an important role in administration and communication before the advent of personal computers and digital technologies.
TELEGRAPH OPERATORS’ DAY: established to honor the professionals responsible for the operation and maintenance of telegraph services, which were fundamental for communication before the development of modern technologies.
