É comemorado anualmente em 8 de Março e tem como objetivo reconhecer as realizações das mulheres ao longo da história e conscientizar sobre as desigualdades de gênero que ainda existem em todo o mundo, em particular no nosso país.

International Women’s Day is a globally recognized day celebrating the social, political and economic achievements of women. It is celebrated annually on March 8th and aims to recognize the achievements of women throughout history and raise awareness of the gender inequalities that still exist around the world, in particular in our country.

O dia surgiu no início do século XX, em um período de intensa agitação e luta por direitos trabalhistas e políticos das mulheres. Desde então, a data tem sido uma oportunidade para refletir sobre os desafios enfrentados pelas mulheres em todo o mundo e promover a igualdade de gênero.
