Resumo: OTC BRASIL 2023 um evento de SUCESSO que reuniu pessoas de 60 países, 114 palestrantes, mais de 180 expositores, a ANP, IBP, PETROBRAS, ENAUTA, Colegas e Amigos atuantes na área e, também a GeRisk Energia.

SUMMARY: OTC BRAZIL 2023 was a SUCCESSFUL event that brought together individuals from 60 countries, featured 114 speakers, and hosted over 180 exhibitors, including the participation of  ANP, IBP, PETROBRAS, ENAUTA, colleagues, friends, and active players in the industry, as well as GeRisk Energia..

A Offshore Technology Conference é um evento importante na nossa indústria de petróleo e gás que reúne profissionais, empresas e consultores para discutir e compartilhar conhecimentos sobre tecnologias e práticas relacionadas à exploração e produção offshore.

The Offshore Technology Conference is a significant event in our oil and gas industry, bringing together professionals, companies, consultants, and experts to discuss and share knowledge about technologies and practices related to offshore exploration and production.

A OTC BRASIL tem por objetivo promover o intercâmbio de tecnologia na indústria de óleo e gás, com foco especial no offshore brasileiro e ênfase em águas profundas e pré-sal. Para isto o evento abrange uma ampla variedade de tópicos relacionados à exploração, produção, desenvolvimento e gestão de petróleo e gás em ambiente offshore. Avanços tecnológicos, inovações, boas práticas de Segurança e Meio Ambiente, além de discussões sobre regulamentações e políticas estão entre os principais temas. 

The OTC BRASIL aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and technology in the oil and gas industry, with a special focus on offshore operations in BRAZIL, particularly in deep waters and the pre-salt. To achieve this, the event covers a wide range of topics related to the exploration, production, development, and management of oil and gas in offshore environments. Technological advancements, innovations, best practices in safety and environmental matters, as well as discussions on regulations and policies, are among the main themes.

A OTC BRASIL 2023, de acordo com os organizadores, recebeu de 24 a 26 de outubro, 21 mil participantes, um aumento de 40% em relação à última edição realizada em 2019. 

The OTC BRASIL 2023, according to the organizers, welcomed 21,000 participants from October 24th to 26th, a 40% increase compared to the last edition held in 2019.

BRASIL na Liderança da TRANSIÇAO ENERGÉTICA: “temos muitas formas de ajudar com a diversidade de fontes. Mas temos também muitos desafios, como integrar as diferentes matrizes energéticas” (Juliano de Carvalho vice-presidente de Inovação, P&D, Digital e TI da ELETROBRAS);

AMBIENTE REGULATÓRIO para estimular produção: “atualmente o nono produtor de petróleo, o BRASIL tem potencial para chegar a quinto no ranking nos próximos dez anos. Para isso, é preciso criar um ambiente regulatório que atenda às necessidades do setor e estimule a atração de novos investimentos” (Décio Oddone CEO da ENAUTA);

REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT to stimulate production: ‘Currently the ninth-largest oil producer, BRAZIL has the potential to reach fifth place in the rankings in the next ten years. To achieve this, it is necessary to create a regulatory environment that meets the sector’s needs and encourages the attraction of new investments.’ (Décio Oddone, CEO of ENAUTA);

 

ANP: “estamos focando em investimentos que comportem também energia renováveis, hidrogênio verde e descarbonização. Em 2022, foram mais de 1 bilhão de dólares investidos em pesquisa e desenvolvimento” (Daniel Maia Diretor da ANP);

Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage: o painel CCUS e iniciativas para alcançar o Net Zero tratou do tema. “Em uma estimativa otimista, o potencial de Receita no BRASIL com CCUS é de 20 bilhões de dólares por ano. Para desenvolver este mercado e realizar este valor é fundamental termos o marco regulatório” (Nathália Weber, cofundadora da CCS BRASIL);

Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS): The CCUS panel and initiatives to achieve Net Zero addressed the topic. ‘In an optimistic estimate, the revenue potential in BRAZIL with CCUS is 20 billion dollars per year. To develop this market and realize this value, having the regulatory framework in place is essential.’ (Nathália Weber, co-founder of CCS BRAZIL);

 

DESCOMISSIONAMENTO : práticas sustentáveis e destinação final são os pontos relevantes. Dados da International Association of Oil and Gas Production  indicam que, até 2030, serão investidos globalmente 100 milhões de dolares e que apesar do avanço tecnológico recentes o desafio da destinação dos equipamentos permanece;

DECOMMISSIONING: Sustainable practices and final disposal are the relevant points. Data from the International Association of Oil and Gas Production indicates that, by 2030, a global investment of 100 million dollars will be made. Despite recent technological advancements, the challenge of equipment disposal remains;

Distinguished Achievement Awards Ceremony – PETROBRAS and ENAUTA: At the conclusion of the event, the awards ceremony celebrated the most recent and significant innovations in the sector.
