BIRTHDAY CELEBRANT of the DAY: CALVIN Richard KLEIN(11/19/1942), fashion designer and founder of the Calvin Klein Inc. brand in 1968, New York, USA

 

FLAG DAY: celebrates the adoption of BRAZIL’s current national flag in 1889, shortly after the Proclamation of the Republic. The date was chosen because, on this day, the new flag was officially established by Decree No. 4. The celebration highlights the importance of this national symbol and reinforces the sense of patriotism.

 

WOMEN’S ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY: established in 2014 by the UN, this date aims to recognize and promote the role of women in global entrepreneurship. The initiative was conceived by Wendy Diamond, who, after volunteer experiences, recognized the need to support and value women entrepreneurs worldwide.

 

WORLD TOILET DAY: established in 2013 by the UN, it aims to raise awareness about the importance of basic sanitation and the need for access to adequate sanitary facilities, especially in underserved regions.

 

INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY: established in 1999 by Thomas Oaster in the USA, it aims to promote men’s health and raise awareness about gender equality.
