HEALTH and QUALITY of LIFE After 60 YEARS: the 5 Tibetan Rites
NATIONAL HISTORIC HERITAGE DAY: dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of Brazil’s historical and cultural heritage. This day is significant for highlighting the importance of protecting and conserving the country’s cultural, architectural, and historical assets, thus preserving the national identity. It is a tribute to the birth of Rodrigo Melo Franco de Andrade, the founder of the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN) in 1937.
National Day of SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION (last Saturday of August): a date dedicated to construction workers who play a crucial role in the country’s infrastructure. Houses, roads, bridges, and many other essential projects for economic and social growth are some examples. The date was established by CBIC (Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry) and Seconci (Social Service of the Construction Industry).
The Five TIBETAN RITES: continuing our weekend publications on the HEALTH and QUALITY of LIFE of the Elderly, starting today, we will talk a little about the Five Tibetan Rites. These are a series of exercises that have been practiced by Tibetan monks for centuries and are often referred to as the “Fountain of Youth.” These exercises aim to enhance vitality, flexibility, and overall well-being as we age.
