SANTIAGO RAÚL LANGE (argentinian, 62 years old): argentinian sailor and Naval Engineer, Olympic Champion, born on September 22, 1961

Medals: bronze in the Tornado Class in 2004 and 2008. Gold in the Nacra 17 Class in 2016.

Lung Cancer: in 2015, he was diagnosed with cancer, which resulted in the removal of part of one of his lungs. His recovery and victory in 2016 are a great example of Resilience and Determination. He did not manage to qualify for Paris 2024. On social media, he expressed Sadness for not achieving the Qualification, but also Gratitude. Despite this, he was invited to Paris by the organizers of the Games.
