International Day of DANCE and Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare

COLLEAGUES and FRIENDS of Our PETROBRAS BIRTHDAYS of the Day: Maria de LOURDES Ferreira and Fernando LIBÓRIO Neto (today ENAUTA)

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF DANCE: this date was established by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1982, in honor of the birth of Jean-Georges Noverre, one of the pioneers of Modern Dance. Dance is an artistic expression that has existed in various cultures around the world for thousands of years. The day celebrates this form of art, recognizing its cultural, historical, and social importance. Through dance, people can express themselves, tell stories, celebrate traditions, and unite communities.

DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR ALL VICTIMS OF CHEMICAL WARFARE: the idea is to honor and remember the victims of attacks with chemical weapons and reaffirm the global commitment to prevent and not allow the future use of these weapons. The use of chemical weapons is one of the forms of armed violence capable of causing extreme suffering and death. These weapons are designed to inflict damage through the release of toxic substances that can cause severe injuries, debilitating diseases, and death.
